First Post/Family Care Gig

Well, here's the first post. From now on you can expect band updates, show reviews, random posts from different band members, and maybe even some special guests. Stay tuned.

We’re playing our next gig this Saturday in Cayucos in the wee hours of the morning. I guess technically you can’t call 9am the “wee hours”, but for me it’s practically the crack of dawn when it comes on the weekend. So the four of us will tear our sleep filled eyes open just wide enough to keep from falling off the stage, and attempt to rock our best for the benefit of the Miracle Mile.

The Miracle Mile is the annual benefit run for the Family Care Network. We played last year, and were asked back, which I guess is a good sign. That means that they must not have seen us catching cat naps in between songs, and dozing off during the instrumental sections.

Actually we’re glad to be a part of it. It’s a good cause, and a great crew of people. They went out of their way to take care of us last year, and I’m sure this one will be no different. If you’re free on Saturday morning, come visit us and support a good cause. We’ll be playing from 9am to 12:30pm with a break in the middle for prize announcements. There will be barbecue and hopefully… lots of sun!

See you there!

Daniel
